Elegant and sophisticated dresses  worn to an afternoon of card playing are featured on the double page front and back cover of the 13th February 1937 copy of Mode & Roman.
Mode & Roman translates as Fashion and Fiction.
Inside there are 18 pages of fashion illustrations and photographs for dressmaking,  for women and children, homemaking,  knitting, crafts and adverts. 
Then there is a further central section of  pages of fiction.
The paper measures 27cm x 18.5cm and is in good condition.
