Straight out of a Wes Anderson film..
Little cardboard suitcases with cellophane sides, complete with pictures of a lock on the top and trains, cars and travel stickers on the sides.
They contain a plastic soap dish and a plastic talcum powder bottle, with a removable top and a screw lid. Because of course one should NEVER leave home without talcum powder.
You don't have to put talcum in the bottle - would be equally useful for much more 21st century products.
On the top is printed Non Plus Ultra product
"Non plus ultra" was apparently inscribed on the Pillars of Hercules at the Strait of Gibraltar, which marked the western end of the classical world. The phrase served as a warning: " (Let there) not (be) more (sailing) beyond."
Make of that what you will...
The suitcase is 13cm wide and 13cm tall, including the handle.
It is just a display box, not really sturdy enough to actually carry things around in, for long anyway.
I have them with pink containers or blue containers.
Perfect present for a travelling friend, or just yourself, to put on a shelf and look at whenever you feel the need to Escape.
