Sheet no 115 S.E London and SEVENOAKS
Issued in 1920 with "Roads" and "Minor Corrections" to 1932, this is a fascinating map of the area South east of London in the 1920s and 30s.
The map shows windmills, a Pilgrim road railways and long lost stations, orchards asylums and no motorways at all.
The scale is 1 inch to 1 mile and it is on cloth reinforced paper, with a wonderful picture of a man and his bike sitting on a hill overlooking some idyllic English countryside, studying his map !
Published by Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The map is in slightly used condition, a bit of wear on the cover and at the corners of the folds.
Would look brilliant on a wall and would make a perfect christmas present for someone who lives in or is nostalgic for the area.
