Unusual 1940s Petrol Blue 5.5cm French Casein Belt Buckle

Gorgeous colour - shimmering petrol blue, lots of variations in the surface - a characteristic of casein plastic of this era.

The design is multi-dimensional too, different levels, straight lines, curves.

A confident buckle ...

Just under 5.5cm tall, 5cm wide.

Excellent condition - unused old warehouse find.

I also have 1 with a prong to be used on a belt with holes.
