Just over 8m of vintage cord, 3 colours, rich brown, deep plum and light brown twisted around eachother to make a strong 1cm wide cord.
Originally came from an old warehouse in Malta - which had a strong British Naval presence in the first half of the 20th century, so this was probably originally intended for military ceremonial use.

But now, endless possibilities.. straps for a bag, handfasting at weddings, tie backs or decorative swags for curtains, fancy dress, my daughter took a length apart to make into shoelaces for Doc Martins... if you do this you get 3 8m lengths of 1cm wide twisted silky cord.
