Just over 16.5m of vintage cord, a silvery fawn grey- 3 strands twisted around each other to make a strong 9mm wide cord.
Originally came from an old warehouse in Malta - which had a strong British Naval presence in the first half of the 20th century, so this was probably originally intended for military ceremonial use.
But now, endless possibilities.. straps for a bag, handfasting at weddings, tie backs or decorative swags for curtains, fancy dress, ties for 3 legged races, my daughter took a length apart to make into shoelaces for Doc Martins...
