100 vintage buttons, an assortment of large, small, glass, plastic, lucite, metal, wood, novelty, pretty, unusual.
Mostly 1940s and 50s, some a bit older, some a bit newer.
There are 100 different buttons.
Each lot has a good mixture of all the different materials, shapes, sizes and colours and the lots are mainly similar but with slight variations.
The 5 different pictures show 5 different boxes so you can see the sorts of mixtures you will get.
I have made a pile of these boxes and will just sell them one by one.
(although you can of course order 5 at a time if you feel compelled
to do so)
Would be perfect for sewing a mixture of buttons onto a previously boring cardigan, any sort of craft project that would be enhanced by the odd button, to put in a lovely tin and give as a present to a sewing friend or to pour into a jam jar which is kept in a secret cupboard and given, occasionally, to small children to play with, as a Special Treat.
(Thus allowing those children to say to vintage dealers in the future...."oohhh, my Grandma had a Button Jar...I used to LOVE playing with it...")
