18th March 1938 French MARIE CLAIRE

18th March 1938 -issue no 55 of the French women's magazine Marie Claire.
There are 67 pages of fashion illustrations and photos,  health and beauty advice, gossip, fiction, cooking, handicrafts, dress making, children, interiors and home making tips.  Also some brilliant 1930s adverts.
The front cover of the magazine is a bit foxed and worn at the top (see 1st photo) but the inside is clean and offers a fascinating insight into the lives of the late 1930s fashionable French woman. 
I have 2 copies and the second one is a bit more grubby on the cover and has a couple of pieces cut from pages - so cheaper !
