1926 HM NAVAL FORCES TOOTH SOAP Bakelite Box with Soap

A Fantastic piece of Naval/Dental History (and how often can you claim that ??)

An excellent condition bakelite pot with a screw on lid, 5.5cm in diameter, and bearing the words :

"TOOTH SOAP PEPPERMINT FLAVOUR SPECIALLY PREPARED FOR THE USE OF H M NAVAL FORCES BY ENOLIN (1926) LTD."

And yes it does contain a wrapped cake of TOOTH SOAP.

Which STILL smells... (not at all like toothpaste)

These came from an old warehouse I cleared in Malta where there was a large British Naval presence between 1814 and 1979.
