1930s SOUPLEX Razor Blade Made in Morecombe !

The Souplex company was founded in Westgate in Morecombe, Lancashire in 1929 and manufactured "Souplex" Safety Razor Blades.  These Souplex Blades "fit all standard double-edge safety razors. They are made of the finest steel to ensure a shaving edge of unusual keenness and longevity."
So proud were they to come from Morecombe that it is the only place, apart from London, tht appears on the lovely little sealed paper packets that these razor blades come in.
