24 delightful black glass buttons on their original display card 
"Superior Quality" "Germany - US. Zone" 
printed on the card - which dates them as from 1945 - 1952.
 The glass has been cut into the shape of  a domed circus tent.
Which means they catch the light and sparkle seductively...
 They are 1.2cm in diameter and have a shank also made of glass. 
I found these in an old button warehouse.
Some of the cards are a bit bent and the buttons would benefit from a gentle wash.
