A fantastic 1950s, possibly earlier, plastic RODDY doll, in its original box. 
On the box it says "A PLASTIC DOLL WITH SLEEPING EYES AND MOVABLE LIMBS"
"LIGHT AND WASHABLE LIFELIKE AND LOVABLE"
''BRITISH MADE".  
The doll is 18cm / 7" tall and printed on its back is
"Roddy 7 Made in England Patent Pending"
 Its arms and legs do move and its eyes do open and close.
The elastic bands that hold the limbs in place are very old so
the limbs are very loose !
The box measures 18.5 by 7.5cm.
I found these in an old toy shop that I cleared - up at the back of a high shelf.
The boxes have the odd crease and dent from long years of storage.
