Poisson d’Avril on Cover of April 1933 French Magazine Mode & Roman

2 ladies look somewhat worried by the giant chocolate fish on displays on the front cover of the 1st April 1933 issue of the French women's magazine Mode & Roman. Probably concerned they are going to get..."tricked" and lose their poise..as 1st of April in France is Poisson d’Avril - a day of pranks and chocolate...pretty much like April fools day here (but with chocolate..so much more civilised)
Inside the magazine there are no tricks, just fashion illustrations and photographs of women and children, dressmaking, homemaking,  knitting, interiors, embroidery and adverts. 
And also a central section of fiction.
It measures 27cm x 18.5cm.
