I have these in pink or pale blue.
There is the odd brown mark on one layer because the pin that holds on the label has rusted.
The original label says
NYLON EMBROIDERY
10 yds
Made in England
The pins that hold the label on are rusty - so there will be a little rust mark in a small piece of the top layers.
Hence the very cheap price !
I found a box of these in an old haberdashery warehouse I cleared.
