Vintage 2.5cm or 1.5cm Maroon and Cream Italian Buttons

These vintage buttons are an unusual shape and an interesting colour combination.. 

The intense maroon edge is built up tall swooping down into a soft cream concave centre.

The cream colour varies slightly between all the buttons on the sheet.

The buttons are made of plastic and measure either

1.5cm - 24 on a card
2.5cm - 12 on a card

2.5cm - 11 on a card

I found them in an old button warehouse - they're Italian - probably from the 1960s, maybe earlier.
