I have a big box of the 1950s paper fans that have flaws -
usually that the intricate folds have a bit missing, or they don't open quite right, or the printing is off.
A good example is the bottom fan in the photo.
But, en masse, layered over eachother, they would still make an exuberant display, especially if interspersed with a set of the good ones.
