These 1930s buttons marvellously display one of the characteristics of vintage casein - attractive surface colour variations - in this case a silvery green and a darker green.
Another characteristic of casein is the way it can be moulded, carved and cut - all displayed magnificently in the surface - moulded undulations, carved into a swirl pattern, with concentrics circles cut out underneath..
They are 2.2cm in diameter and I'm selling them in lots of 6.
The original display cards they came on were headed NOVELTY SERIE.
