Delightful 1940s Shop Display Card of 36 Blue Bow Hair Clips

Excellent condition bright and colourful 1940s shop display card.
29cm tall and 24cm wide and containing 36 blue plastic bow 4.5cm hair clips
(they have secure metal clip on their backs)

Non-inflammable was a big deal because previous hair clips were made of celluloid - which was VERY flammable !

(The adjectives flammable and inflammable mean exactly the same thing: easily set on fire and capable of burning quickly. 
Of the two terms, the older word for something capable of burning is inflammable, but early in the 20th century the word flammable was coined as a synonym for inflammable. 
So non-inflammable means NOT easily set on fire !)
