Early C20th Package of 12 Italian Wooden Spools of Black Sewing Thread.

All wrapped up in a brown paper package decorated with a splendid picture
of the Italian factory where the cotton was manufactured.

The packages are tied up with string, and with the odd little tear, well they
are over 100 years old !

The wooden reels are 3cm tall and 3.7cm wide and decorated
with a strange creature  ..a muntjac, ..but why ?  
The gauge of the cotton is 30.
