Vintage Box of 20 Reels of Sparkly Cotton and Metallic Strands Thread

I found several boxes of these threads in an old haberdashery warehouse I cleared in Malta years ago.
Everything else in there dated from the 1930s to the early 1960s but there is no label on the boxes but bunt is printed on the side which is German for colourful - so probably made in Germany.

There are 20 cardboard spools in each box, mixed colours as you can see.
The thread is cotton with a thin metallic thread would around it making it glimmer and shine. 
There is probably about 20 yards on each spool.
The thread is not that strong - if you pull it hard it breaks - so more for gentle embroidery than macrame !
