Possibly one of the most delightful things I've ever found in the old shops and warehouses I've cleared.
An original 1930s display card of 5cm hairpins.

Printed on the card is Made in Germany
In perfect unused condition.
A perfectly turned out young woman in a gorgeous dress admires herself her jewels and her immaculate hairstyle in her dressing table mirror...
The card is just over 10cm wide and 8cm tall.  
Made in Germany printed on the card.
The hair pins are metal and covered with a bright lucite casing.
The pins themselves are a bit tarnished on the back - I've shown this in the last photo.
But really this is an item for putting on a shelf, or even in a frame - a perfect piece of glamour history...
