Designed, obviously, to accommodate and protect the impressively large
and complicated up-dos of the era.
There are snap fasteners to close it to varying degrees of snugness.
They are plastic and decorated with a lacy floral design in either
blue, gold, red or yellow.
They are cleverly designed so once taken off and dried, you just pull gently on both ends at once and they miraculously return to a neat straight shape that you can easily be folded, put back into the handy case, and returned to your bag for the next
rainy day.
All the colours come in 2 different coloured cases which you can see in the
pictures that come up with each option.
