Each scene has a play on words as if this scene was taking place in an office setting...not a toilet !
The detail is wonderful.... an old wooden bench loo, a brush that looks like its made of twigs mounted on the wall, newspaper, towel, rug (?), wall mounted loo roll .
And then there are her clothes, the bloomers under her skirts only marginally being outshone by the flamboyant bow/bonnet arrangement on top of her head.
Only the French could produce such a marvellously realistic set of images such as these for sale to the public in the early 20th century.
If you have an office, and it has a toilet, putting these up on the wall  would make a...unique talking point !
They have all been written on and I can't make out the date on the stamp, but these stamps were in use around 1908.
