Not sure of the age but probably 1940s or 50s when nylon first started being used to make hosiery as the box is making a fuss about the
S-T-R-E-T-C-H
I have boxes of
Medium - 6 - 61/2 - 7 (old sizes)
And Large - 71/2 - 8 - 81/2 (old sizes)
Large unstretched length from heel to toe is 8.5", stretched is 11.5"
They have a suitably nylon feel and certainly do S-T-R-E-T-C-H
Each box comes with 3 pairs.
