Dynamic Red and Silver Checkerboard 1940s Bag

Decorated with a shimmery silver and red chess board pattern. 
I have this bag in both a tiny size - 12.5cm wide, 9cm tall
and a slightly bigger size - 16.5cm wide, 9cm tall.
It has a satisfying metal clip and a metal chain.
It's made of vinyl covered cardboard - plain on the inside, printed on the outside.
The sides of the bag, to allow it to open and close, are made of a kind of plasticised fabric and has a deep red stitched fabric trim.
It still has its original paper stuffing - to keep its shape ! (see last photo)
