Confident 1940s Black Metal Floral Brooch - Oval

A dynamic vintage metal brooch...leaves and flowers.
The black has been painted on and is a little wrn, or maybe its intentional, on the high points...adds definition !
Probably from the 1940s but maybe older.
It's 4.7cm long, 2.8cm wide.
