A lid that comes off to reveal a handy container for 10 cotton reels.
This lid has a nifty on/off mechanism to lock it shut (for transport ?) See 5th photo.

A needle case..complete with a cork base to keep your needles upright.
The boxes are 12cm tall, including the thimble and 11cm wide.Â
They have MADE in ENGLAND impressed on the base.
I have them in green or pink.
And I have 2 green that have damaged base - see the 7th photo - so these are cheaper.
I'm selling these sewing boxes empty but have included an option to buy 10 different coloured vintage cotton reels - lustre machine twist - 150 yds on each reel. The colours may not be exactly the same as in the photo but I'll send a good mix of 10 different colours - see last photo.
